Edition 2025 — Cantando la Palma
In 2025, Cantando la Palma returned to Castrocielo on the weekend of Palm Sunday, with choral groups gathered in Piazza Umberto I for the traditional palm song and the parade through the village streets. Organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Santa Lucia parish, the event once again renewed the ancient Easter tradition of Ciociaria.
Cantando la Palma 2025
In 2025, Cantando la Palma once again marked the beginning of Holy Week in Castrocielo. On the weekend preceding Palm Sunday, choral groups met in Piazza Umberto I for the blessing of the palms and performances of the traditional song, before parading from house to house along the village streets. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Castrocielo with the Santa Lucia parish, confirmed the vitality of a folk tradition passed down from generation to generation in the heart of Ciociaria.
