Edition 2025 — Canosa Sannita Road Race

The thirteenth edition of the Canosa Sannita City Road Race was a great success, gathering 228 total participants, with athletes arriving from outside the region. The race, moved forward to mid-September to coincide with the grape harvest, took place on the usual 3.3-kilometer city circuit repeated three times. In the men's category, Sergio Serraiocco won, while Erika Di Cecco prevailed among the women.

Thirteenth edition: 228 at the finish line

The 13th Canosa Sannita City Road Race, organized by ASD Progetto Running led by president Franco Giurastante, recorded a great success with 228 total participants, including the competitive race, fun run, and youth races. The edition was moved forward to mid-September to coincide with the grape harvest, offering runners evocative views among the vineyards of the Canosa Sannita area, in the province of Chieti.

In the men's category, Sergio Serraiocco (Nuova Atletica Montesilvano) won, ahead of Camillo Agostinone and Manuel Di Gregorio; among the women, the victory went to Erika Di Cecco (Asd Vini Fantini). The event, valid for the Corrilabruzzo UISP circuits, concluded with the awards ceremony for the top finishers and categories, and the traditional final refreshment.

Programme

In the morning, the youth races for under 16s over shorter distances, followed by the adult competitive race on the 3.3 km city circuit to be repeated three times and the non-competitive fun run. At the conclusion, awards ceremony and refreshments for all participants.
