Cannobio Carnival

The 2025 Cannobiese Carnival confirmed its winning formula with three days of festivities in Cannobio, on Lake Maggiore. Thursday, March 6, opened with tripe at the Oratory, the children's parade, and baby dance at the Palacarnevale, closing with the Ballroom Gala. Friday, March 7, saw polenta and tapelucco served before the musical evening featuring the 883 tribute band, Jolly Blu, and the Aganaway DJ set.

Saturday, March 8, was the highlight: the parade of the carnival royalty with brass bands, an aperitif in the square by the bell tower, risotto with luganiga at the Oratory, and, in the afternoon, the grand parade of allegorical floats, judged by the jury based on satire, allegory, and technique. The festival concluded with the "Tomorrow Carnival" evening at the Palacarnevale.
