Cannes in Rome Mon Amour

30th edition — July 7-13, 2025

The 30th-anniversary edition was held from July 7 to 13, 2025, at the Cinema 4 Fontane on Via delle Quattro Fontane, in the center of Rome. The lineup featured thirteen titles, twelve feature films and one short film, from eleven countries, selected from the Official Competition, Un Certain Regard, Quinzaine des Cinéastes, and Special Screenings.

Among the films awarded on the Croisette and brought to Rome were Jeunes Mères by the Dardenne brothers, winner of the Best Screenplay award, and La Petite Dernière by Hafsia Herzi, awarded for her performance. As per tradition, all screenings were held in the original language with Italian subtitles.

The festival was organized by ANEC Lazio and Circuito Cinema, with the support of Roma Capitale — Department of Culture, the recognition of the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture, and the patronage of the French Embassy in Italy.
