Canicattì Carnival

The 23rd edition of the Canicattì Carnival took place from Saturday, March 1 to Tuesday, March 4, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most important carnivals in Sicily. The opening ceremony launched the event on Saturday, March 1, at 6:30 PM, followed by the first parade of allegorical floats and costumed groups along Via Giglia and San Vincenzo, with the opening of the funfair and food areas. In the evening, DJ sets with Antonio Ferraro, Joe Galifi, Sergio Di Piazza, Williams, and Alberto Lodato.

Sunday, March 2, was dedicated to entertainment for children and the second parade of floats, while Monday, March 3, featured the school costume parade along Via Regina Margherita. Tuesday, March 4, saw the grand finale with the parade of floats on the central Via Vittorio Emanuele. A rich edition, with majestic allegorical floats signed by the Float Builders' Union and the Terre d'Uva.

• 9:00 AM — Costume parade of schools along Via Regina Margherita, with final show at the municipal villa

Tuesday, March 4

• 6:30 PM — Parade of floats on the central Via Vittorio Emanuele
