Edition 2025 — Grape Harvest Festival
The first Canelli Grape Harvest Festival
The inaugural 2025 edition brought Canelli to life over the weekend of September 20 and 21. On Saturday evening, at 7:30 PM, the ribbon-cutting in Piazza Cavour kicked off the festival, followed by "Ballando Le Cupole in Tour" with dancing and music until late at night. In the afternoon, the pop-up exhibition "Le vetrine raccontano" (The shop windows tell a story) was inaugurated, featuring dozens of artists in exhibition spots throughout the center.
Sunday featured the Canelli City Wind Orchestra, the Universal Dance school, the Canelline, the Old Wild West country group, and the traditional cantè j'euv. There was also space for outdoor readings hosted by the G. Monticone Civic Library, multisensory grape workshops, wooden games for children, demonstrations of ancient crafts, and the merenda sinoira. Food and wine stalls, run by the Pro Loco and the Palio Committee, and guided tours of the historic Bosca, Contratto, and Amerio cellars rounded out a weekend of great participation.
