Candela in Fiore 2025 — the twelfth edition

On May 17 and 18, 2025, the historic center of Candela hosted the twelfth edition of Candela in Fiore. Along the main street, the Master floral artists of Infioritalia, supported by the Pro Loco, the ASP Candela Promozione, local schools, and citizens, composed a large carpet of petals. The 2025 edition paid tribute to Pope Francis and featured a section dedicated to Marvel superheroes drawn by the youngest participants, alongside traditional floral designs.

A widespread program developed around the floral carpet: the Flower Cycle Ride, the Animated Village theater route, the sixth Flower Gathering with vintage cars, floral arrangement workshops led by the GardenClub Amaryllis, the exhibition of dioramas on art history at Palazzo Padula, and street food stalls along the street. A weekend of colors, scents, and participation that confirmed Candela as one of the most vibrant stops on the calendar of Southern Italy's flower festivals.
