The Carnival of the Molise village
The Campodipietra Carnival is one of the most cherished events in the village's calendar, in the province of Campobasso. Every year, in the period preceding Lent, the village fills with masks, dances, and allegorical floats, in a celebration that involves adults and children alike and is managed by the Pro Loco Campodipietra.
Roots in peasant tradition
As in many centers in Molise, the Campodipietra Carnival maintains links with ancient popular representations, where masks and processions evoked the rhythms of rural life and the changing of the seasons. The festival thus blends the fun of floats and costumes with the memory of the territory's customs.

Campodipietra Carnival — edition 2026
