The bell-ringing gathering in 2025

In 2025, the bell-ringing groups of the Lucchesia met again for their customary provincial gathering, a day that changes location each year among the towns of the Archdiocese of Lucca, from the Piana to the Media Valle del Serchio, up to the Garfagnana and Versilia. The initiative is part of the "2016-2026: 10 years together" cycle of events, through which the Associazione Campanari Lucchesi celebrates the tenth anniversary of its foundation.

As per tradition, the day alternated live bell-ringing performances, a religious celebration, and a convivial moment. The gathering represents an opportunity for bell ringers of all ages to meet and to promote an ancient art, now recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, which paved the way for the 2026 edition hosted by the Municipality of Fosciandora.
