Camminare il Monferrato in Odalengo Piccolo

The 2025 edition of the Odalengo Piccolo walk took place on Sunday, October 12, in conjunction with the 30th edition of the "Tufo & Tartufo" Regional White Truffle Fair. The meeting point was set for 2:15 PM in the square in front of the Town Hall, with departure at 2:30 PM. The route, of tourist-level difficulty and lasting about two and a half hours, crossed the fair area towards the Serra locality in the direction of Villadeati, including a visit to Cascina Campasso and an introduction to a volcanic cinerite quarry, the woods with the remains of an old sand quarry at Cascine Rondaneto, the Passo Croce, and the descent into the valley of the certified truffle grounds. The walk was led by guide Anna Maria Bruno with the support of local experts.
