Camaro Spring Carnival (Camaro de Janeiro)

The Camaro Superiore community carnival on March 2, 2025, was a great success, with over 400 participants gathered in the hillside village of Messina. The festival, organized by the "I Figli del Tuono" association led by Marina Giambò with the support of local merchants and volunteers, began at 4:00 PM with a masked parade along the streets of the district.

The program included live music and cabaret shows, group dances, games, and entertainment for children with stilt walker Miss Magic Bubble from Acireale, tastings of local specialties, and a grand final musical show in Piazza Fazio. The event featured host Helga Corrao with the IRIS Band, the "Battiti di danza" dance school, and various local artists. President Giambò highlighted the community's enthusiastic response and the value of these initiatives in strengthening the sense of belonging and promoting local traditions.
