CaltaPride 2025 — second edition

The second edition of CaltaPride was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, with the theme "Freedom, visibility, inclusion." The gathering began at 6:00 PM in Piazza Risorgimento, animated by jugglers, selfie spots, and face painting, while the parade set off at 7:00 PM.

Along the route, several stops took place: the San Luigi intersection with a speech by Spillo, the War Memorial with a reading of the political manifesto, and Piazza Marconi with a performance by the Kalta Street Eagles. The arrival at Piazza Umberto at 9:00 PM opened the stage segment with speeches by Mayor Fabio Roccuzzo, the CaltaPride Committee, and the association Papà per Scelta, hosted by Molly Narciso with the presence of LIS interpreters. The evening continued with concerts by Habemus Capa and The Astronote, and from 10:40 PM, a DJ set until 2:00 AM.

The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Caltagirone, confirmed the growth of the Calatino Pride as a reference point for the LGBTQIA+ community in Eastern Sicily.
