Edition 2025 — Calici di Stelle

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, during the night of San Lorenzo, Castiglione di Sicilia hosted Calici di Stelle starting at 9:00 PM. Tastings took place between Piazza Lauria, Piazza Sant'Antonio, and the Castello di Lauria, featuring wines from Etna wineries, AIS sommeliers, and music in the village alleys. The 15-euro ticket included a glass with a carrying pouch and four tastings of choice, with a free shuttle service from parking areas.

Calici di Stelle 2025

The 2025 edition of Calici di Stelle in Castiglione di Sicilia took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, on the night of San Lorenzo, starting at 9:00 PM. Tasting stations enlivened Piazza Lauria, Piazza Sant'Antonio, and the Castello di Lauria, home to the Regional Wine Cellar for Eastern Sicily.

The ticket, costing 15 euros, included a glass with a carrying pouch and four wine tastings of choice from the numerous labels of the Etna region. Sommeliers guided the tastings through a route alternating white, red, and rosé wines, accompanied by music in the most evocative corners of the ancient village. The box office was set up in Piazza Lauria, with pre-purchase available online, and a free shuttle service was active from the external parking lots. The event was organized in collaboration with the Movimento Turismo del Vino, with the patronage of the Terre dell'Etna and Alcantara GALs.

Programme

From 9:00 PM: guided tastings by sommeliers between Piazza Lauria, Piazza Sant'Antonio, and the Castello di Lauria. White, red, and rosé wines from the Etna region, gastronomic areas, and music in the ancient village.
