Calici di Stelle in Castellina in Chianti

In 2025, Calici di Stelle in Castellina in Chianti celebrated its 20th anniversary with a widespread program, "Calici della Castellina," spread over eight days from August 7th to 17th.

The festival began on August 7th with a sunset excursion, and on August 8th with Gallo Nero games for children and adults and "Ciccia e vino" food stands. On August 10th, the night of San Lorenzo, the main evening of Calici di Stelle was held: tastings of wines from Castellina producers and street food through the village streets, music with the Radicondoli Band, a concert by the Castellina Philharmonic in Piazza della Chiesa, evening opening of the Archaeological Museum of the Sienese Chianti, and sky observation with the Sienese Amateur Astronomers Union.

August 11th was dedicated to Calici d'Italia, with national wines, acoustic music, and street food. The program continued with the regional finals of Miss Eleganza Toscana (August 12th), the tribute to Italian singer-songwriters "Carpe Diem" (August 13th), and on August 17th, the concert of the Francesco Di Napoli Orchestra in Piazza del Comune.

Friday, August 8

• 22:00 — DJ set under the stars with white dress code, Piazza del Comune.

Sunday, August 10 — Calici di Stelle

• From 18:00 — Tastings of wines from Castellina producers and street food throughout the village, with the Radicondoli Band and the Castellina drummer.
