Edition 2025 — Calici d'Etruria

In the summer of 2025, the combination of wine and museum heritage gradually established itself in Volterra as a formula capable of enhancing both local wineries and civic museums. These oeno-cultural experiences in the Etruscan city paved the way for the Calici d'Etruria festival, which officially debuts in 2026 with the theme "One glass, a thousand stories."

Towards Calici d'Etruria: Summer 2025 in Volterra

During the summer of 2025, Volterra continued to cultivate its oeno-cultural vocation, promoting local wines within a context of great historical and artistic appeal. Initiatives linked to the Civic Museums and local wineries consolidated the idea of combining wine tasting with the city's heritage, in a Province of Pisa rich in wine traditions yet to be discovered.

This journey found its synthesis in the Calici d'Etruria festival, which officially debuts in 2026, bringing Volterra's producers into the Guarnacci Etruscan Museum, the Art Gallery, the Palazzo dei Priori, and the Etruscan Acropolis. A format that brings wine into dialogue with Etruscan collections and Tuscan art, confirming Volterra as a destination for those seeking an authentic experience between culture and taste.
