Calcarelli Living Nativity

The third edition of the Calcarelli Living Nativity was held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in the hamlet of Calcarelli, in Castellana Sicula (PA). The event, titled "From Nazareth to Bethlehem," transformed the village's historic center into a large itinerant nativity scene.

The route started from Piazza Vittoria and led visitors, through the streets of the village animated by costumed actors, to the grotto set up as the Nativity scene. The visit was organized in two evening shifts, at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with texts and narration by Santi Cicardo. At the end of the route, participants could taste local products from the Madonie tradition. The event, with free admission and the possibility of booking, was organized by the Calcarelli community with the support of the parish.
