Calascibetta Living Nativity

The 2025 Calascibetta Living Nativity was held on December 27 and 28, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in the historic centre of the village in the Province of Enna. The edition, titled "The Nativity in the rock... amidst lights and local tales," featured the traditional setting among the caves and caverns carved into the calcarenite, with the Nativity grotto set up in via Carcere, just a few steps from the main square.

Over a hundred actors in period costumes brought to life shepherds, blacksmiths, cobblers, washerwomen, farmers, and vendors, recreating the atmosphere of ancient Bethlehem. The event, organised by the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Calascibetta with the participation of associations, citizens, and guests of the SAI project, also offered markets, sweets, and tastings along the route. The entrance ticket was 3 euros.
