Edition 2025 — C.U.R.A. Festival

The seventh edition of the C.U.R.A. Festival took place in Leporano from August 8 to September 13, 2025, at Borgo Angelica in Gandoli. The opening night, '80 voglia di Bacco', combined music and typical Ionian tastings with a fundraiser for the children of Gaza. Events included the CineCena auteur cinema series, musical evenings, food and wine, and community archaeology meetings as part of the regional project dedicated to Apulian Pro Loco associations.

The seventh edition (2025)

The C.U.R.A. Festival 2025, now in its seventh year, opened on Friday, August 8, with the 80 voglia di Bacco evening: a DJ set by Francesco Mastrorilli and tastings of typical dishes from the Ionian coast, in an evening with a strong focus on solidarity, featuring a fundraiser for the children of Gaza in collaboration with the Giovanni XXIII HuDA Palestine association.

The cultural heart of the program was the CineCena series, created with the L'Obiettivo Cultural Association of Taranto: three evenings of auteur cinema accompanied by dinner (pizza and a drink) at a cost of 10 euros, featuring screenings of The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro (August 11), Romeo è Giulietta by Giovanni Veronesi (August 18), and Poor Things! by Yorgos Lanthimos (August 25).

The festival, part of the Itineraries of Taste and Community Archaeology project funded by the Puglia Region, enlivened Borgo Angelica in Gandoli until September 13 with music, food and wine, and the promotion of local archaeological heritage.
