C/Art – Creatives in Dialogue

C/Art 2025: the second edition

On July 25 and 26, 2025, Carrara hosted the second edition of C/Art – Creatives in Dialogue, the creativity festival of the UNESCO Creative City. About seventy artists — ceramicists, musicians, designers, videomakers, painters, and sculptors — from Italy, Spain, Egypt, Poland, Germany, Bosnia, Iceland, and China enlivened the districts of Cafaggio, Grazzano, and Baluardo and via Carriona.

The theme of the edition revolved around hospitality and migration understood as a positive movement in the world, along with creative recycling and sustainability. Between extraordinary openings of churches and artist studios, performances on bridges and squares, workshops, and a high-quality creative market, the festival concluded with the Carrareccia, the community dinner along the Carrione river.
