The transhumance of September 13, 2025
The 2025 edition of the Brunschta Almabtrieb was held on Saturday, September 13, in Valdaora di Sopra (Oberolang), Puster Valley. At 11:00 AM, the parade set off from the sports field to accompany the decorated cows from the Brunst pasture to the Aparthotel Winklwiese.
The celebration continued throughout the afternoon: from 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM, musical entertainment was provided by Sigima Blech, followed by festivities from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Wio und di oane. At 5:00 PM, the raffle draw took place with exciting prizes. There was no shortage of South Tyrolean culinary specialties and typical drinks, in a day of authentic rural tradition organized by the Bauernjugend Olang.

- 11:00 AM — Departure of the parade from the Valdaora di Sopra (Oberolang) sports field; descent of the decorated cows from the Brunst pasture along Bödenstraße to the Aparthotel Winklwiese
