Edition 2025 — Swordfish Festival

The second edition of the Brucoli Swordfish Festival took place from August 22 to 24, 2025, at Piazza Castello Aragonese and the Porto Canale of the seaside village. Three evenings dedicated to swordfish, with cooking shows, tastings, cultural meetings on the history and maritime economy of Brucoli, and musical performances. The event was promoted by the Associazione Borgo Marinaro in collaboration with the Augusta municipal administration.

The second edition of the Brucoli Swordfish Festival was held from August 22 to 24, 2025, with activities starting at 7:00 PM. The heart of the event was the preparation of swordfish in the square, accompanied by tastings, cocktails, and fruit salads.

On August 22, the cooking show took place in Piazza Castello Aragonese, while on August 23 and 24, the Porto Canale hosted cultural initiatives with projections of historical images of the village: on the 23rd, the Gisira association recounted the historical economy of Brucoli, while on the 24th, an ancient grains producer and a chef spoke about seafood products and Mediterranean nutrition. The evenings were enlivened by Latin-Caribbean disco music, DJ sets, and the musical shows "Napoli c'è" and "In Canto Brucoli". The event was also broadcast via live streaming.
