Brindisi-Corfu International Regatta

The thirty-ninth edition of the Brindisi-Corfu International Regatta, organized by the Circolo della Vela Brindisi, took place from June 8 to 10, 2025. After the crew briefing at 9:00 AM, the fleet—about 85 boats—set sail at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 8, from Brindisi's outer harbor, tackling the 104 miles of the Adriatic towards Corfu.

In the preceding days, the Regina Margherita seafront had hosted the traditional Regatta Village, with musical, cultural, and food and wine events. On a day of light winds, the victory in corrected time went to Anywave, skippered by Alberto Leghissa, who completed the course in 17 hours and 55 minutes, ahead of Forever K and Bloom. The awards ceremony was held in Corfu, once again sealing the maritime twinning between the two cities.
