Briana Festival

A Village Festival in the Heart of Miranese

The Briana Festival is the spring celebration of the small hamlet of Briana, in the Municipality of Noale (province of Venice, Veneto). It takes place around the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, along Via Briana Centro, and is organized by the parish with the patronage of the Municipality and the participation of the Noale Civic Philharmonic Band.

Ten Days of Celebration

The event spans about ten days, from late April until May 3rd, alternating religious, gastronomic, and entertainment moments. The common thread is the food stand, open in the evenings and on holidays, with typical Venetian cuisine dishes, grilled meats, and homemade desserts.

Between Tradition and Community

Alongside the dining, the program includes the Family Festival with lunch by reservation, the Kindergarten Festival, a fun run, themed evenings, group dance performances, and on the final day, a parade of musicians and flag-wavers. On May 1st, Holy Mass is celebrated with a procession and the traditional blessing of vehicles. Every evening, a charity raffle is held, with proceeds supporting the activities of the parish community.

The Briana Festival is one of those events that embody the true identity of the Veneto region: small in size, but capable of keeping the cohesion of an entire hamlet alive.
