Brescia Castle: Kingdom of Pop Culture
For one weekend, Brescia Castle transforms into the kingdom of pop culture thanks to Brescia Cosplay & Comics, also known as BS Cos Com. As part of the We Love Castello event series, the festival occupies the entire fortress, from the ramparts to the courtyards, welcoming fans of comics, manga, anime, video games, and cosplay.
The heart of the event is nerd culture in all its forms: comics and manga, anime, gaming, board games and role-playing games, K-Pop, and the unmissable Artist Alley, where illustrators and artists exhibit and sell their work. There's also the cosplay contest, a highlight for those who bring their favorite characters to life with elaborate costumes.
Each edition attracts prestigious guests from the scene: Italian voice actors who have lent their voices to cult characters, illustrators linked to the Disney world, experts, and protagonists of pop culture. The grand finale is traditionally entrusted to Giorgio Vanni, considered the "king of Italian cartoon theme songs," with over 150 theme songs performed.
Experiencing Brescia Cosplay & Comics also means discovering the Lombard city's castle from a new perspective: the ticket often grants access to the museums within the fortress, such as the Luigi Marzoli Arms Museum. A formula that combines pop passion with historical heritage, making the festival one of the most colorful and attended events of the Brescia summer.
The 4th edition of Brescia Cosplay & Comics will animate Brescia Castle on May 30 and 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, involving the entire fortress. Comics, manga, anime, gaming, cosplay, K-Pop, and Artist Alley are the stars of the event, part of the We Love Castello series.
Among the guests are the Italian voice actresses for the Huntrix from the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters, voice actor Luigi Rosa, and Disney illustrator Francesco Guerrini. Closing the two-day event will be the concert by Giorgio Vanni, "king of cartoon theme songs.".
