Edition 2025 — Braciami Ancora

The fourth edition of Braciami Ancora took place in Apice, in the province of Benevento, from August 17 to 19, 2025, in Contrada Marroni, just steps from the remains of the Ponte Rotto on the Via Appia. Three consecutive evenings of glowing grills, with meat and farm-to-table products provided by local farms, Sannio wines, and outdoor tables set in the rustic tradition. Organized by the Pro Loco of Apice with the Municipality; evenings were enlivened by folk music.

Braciami Ancora 2025: the fourth edition

From August 17 to 19, 2025, the Contrada Marroni of Apice (Province of Benevento, Campania) hosted the fourth edition of Braciami Ancora, the grill festival of the Apice Sannio. Three consecutive evenings in the heart of summer, in the open space next to the remains of the Ponte Rotto, the Roman viaduct of the Via Appia.

As in previous editions, the star was the fire: wood-fired grills, meat from local livestock farms, vegetables and farm-to-table garden products, homemade bread, and Sannio wines, served at long rustic-style tables. The evenings were accompanied by folk music and traditional songs, with the group Morroni Folk among the entertainment highlights.

The event, promoted by the Pro Loco of Apice together with local farms and the Municipal Administration, confirmed the event's dual purpose: to promote the territory's agri-food production and, at the same time, to raise awareness of an archaeological area that is still little visited. Entry was free.

Programme

Three consecutive evenings (Sunday 17, Monday 18, and Tuesday 19 August 2025) in Contrada Marroni, in Apice. Every evening: opening of food stands with wood-fired grills, farm-to-table meat and products from local farms, seasonal sides, homemade bread, and Sannio wines; outdoor rustic-style tables; folk music and traditional songs with the Morroni Folk group. Free entry.
