Edition 2025 — Bovolone Carnival

In 2025, the Bovolone Carnival once again animated the streets of Bovolone's center for over a month, from Epiphany to Shrove Tuesday: traditional masks, papier-mâché float parades, confetti, and Frittola, the local typical dessert. One of the longest and most cherished Carnival festivals in the Veronese area.

The 2025 edition of the Bovolone Carnival confirmed the long tradition of Bovolone (Verona), with celebrations spread from Epiphany to Shrove Tuesday. The historic masks of the town and the papier-mâché floats paraded through the center streets, amidst confetti and streamers, in a popular festival organized by the Pro Loco and deeply rooted in the identity of the Bovolone community. The distribution of Frittola, the dessert symbol of the local Carnival, was a must.

Programme

A schedule of parades spread between January and February, featuring papier-mâché floats and traditional masks in the center streets, a float competition, and Frittola for everyone.
