Edition 2025 — Borgo Rurale
Borgo Rurale 2025, the 26th edition
The 26th edition of Borgo Rurale was held in Treglio (CH) on 8 and 9 November 2025, with the inauguration on Saturday at 18:30. In the village cellars, visitors could taste new wine and Abruzzo wines (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Pecorino) from local wineries such as Spinelli, Colle Moro, Casal Thaulero, Valle Martello, Vini Casalbordino, Citra, Agriverde, and Miglianico.
At the food stations managed by over 300 volunteers, guests enjoyed arrosticini, pallotte cace e ove, cod with roasted peppers, sagnette e ceci, fried pizza, and caciocavallo impiccato, with gluten-free options available. A free shuttle service from Lanciano and Rocca San Giovanni was active, along with a camper area and baby parking. The edition confirmed the success of an event that attracts visitors from well beyond the region.
