About Borgo Isola Festival
Forty Years of Neighbourhood Celebration
In Borgo Isola, a neighbourhood within the Municipality of Cassola in the province of Vicenza, the late May festival is much more than a simple village fair. Born in the eighties as a convivial gathering for neighbours, the Borgo Isola Festival has grown to become an eagerly awaited event for the entire community, and in 2026 it reaches its 40th edition.
Good Venetian Cuisine and Music
The heart of the festival is the food stand at the Neighbourhood House in via Portile, where every evening you can enjoy the great classics of Venetian cuisine: tripe alla parmigiana, baccalà alla vicentina, gnocchi, tagliatelle, mixed grill, and for the anniversary, the new quail and rib spit roast. Alongside the dining area, the Youth Area, DJ sets, and live concerts transform the neighbourhood into a large intergenerational meeting point.
A Community-Made Festival
The event is organized by the Borgo Isola Neighbourhood Committee with the collaboration of Pro Loco and the Municipality of Cassola, with free admission. It is an example of how, in the Vicenza area, neighbourhood festivals remain a vibrant fabric of social life and volunteerism.
Borgo Isola Festival — edition 2026
For the 40th edition, the Borgo Isola Festival offers four days of celebration from May 21st to 24th, 2026. The programme alternates between the opening of the Youth Area, the food stand with Venetian specialities (and the new quail and rib spit roast for the anniversary), DJ sets, and the grand finale on Sunday with the concert by KANEVA Band. Free admission, at the Neighbourhood House in via Portile, Cassola (VI).

Friday, May 22nd

How to get there
Borgo Isola is located in Cassola, along the Bassano del Grappa-Cittadella route. By car, exit SS47 Valsugana, the Neighbourhood House is at via Portile 108. By train, Bassano del Grappa station, then bus or taxi.
