Borgo di Gusto 2025
The 2025 edition of Borgo di Gusto renewed the tradition of the food and wine festival in Civitaluparella, in the province of Chieti, which brings visitors and curious people to the Abruzzo village every summer. The historic center transformed into a culinary itinerary through alleys, stairways, and ancient stone houses, with stops dedicated to typical products of the hinterland: artisanal cured meats, mountain cheeses, pallotte cac'e ove, tagliariel e faciuol, wood-fired pizzas and focaccias, honey, and traditional sweets, accompanied by Abruzzo wines.
The event, curated by the Pro Loco Civitaluparella Caldora, combined dish tastings with folk music, roaming performances, and activities for children in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Admission was free, with a shuttle service available to visitors.
