The Borgarello Re-Use Market is one of the most beloved events in the Province of Pavia dedicated to sustainability and re-use. One Sunday a year, the streets of the center of Borgarello and the setting of Villa Mezzabarba host over 90 stalls, in a day that blends sustainability, culture, music, and sports.
The Repair Café
The true symbol of the event is the Repair Café station, an initiative that has now found a permanent home in Borgarello. Here, citizens can learn to repair objects instead of throwing them away, in the spirit of a circular economy and fighting waste. The message is to give "new life to things," involving both adults and children.
A Celebration for the Entire Community
The event is organized by civic volunteers, the "Villa in Comune" Committee, and the Municipal Library, in collaboration with and under the patronage of the Municipality of Borgarello. Designed for the whole family, it combines the pleasure of browsing the stalls with cultural and entertainment moments, in a festive atmosphere that enlivens the entire village. Free parking is available throughout the municipal area to facilitate visitor access.
Re-Use Market — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Borgarello Re-Use Market takes place on Sunday, May 24, starting at 9:30 AM, in the streets of the village center and the charming Villa Mezzabarba.
With a significant increase in participation, this edition features over 90 stalls dedicated to second-hand items and re-use. The highlight of the day is the Repair Café station, which now has a permanent base in Borgarello.
