Edition 2025 — Bonfires of Saint Anthony Abbot
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony Abbot confirmed the vitality of one of the most deeply rooted fire traditions in the northern province of Foggia. As is customary, on the evening of January 16th, the large straw and broom bonfires illuminated the historic center of Rocchetta Sant'Antonio, attracting residents, returning emigrants, and visitors from the Monti Dauni. The festival combined the religious dimension with a convivial one, featuring buffets of local products, the traditional dinner of 'ruoto di capuzza di agnello e patate', and, on January 17th, the blessing of domestic animals and livestock on the patron saint's day.
