Edition 2025 — Giubiana of Vighizzolo
In 2025, the hamlet of Vighizzolo in Cantù also celebrated its Giubiana bonfire at the oratory. A late January evening with dinner featuring risotto with luganega sausage and the traditional bonfire of the effigy, accompanied by the folklore of the Sbandieratori e Musici Lariani.
The 2025 edition renewed the bonfire tradition in the hamlet of Vighizzolo: dinner with risotto with luganega sausage at the oratory and evening bonfire of the Giubiana, enlivened by the medieval marches of the Sbandieratori e Musici Lariani.
The festival, with its intimate and family-friendly dimension, confirmed the strong community spirit of the Cantù hamlet, distinguishing itself from the more famous Giubiana in Piazza Garibaldi.
