Edition 2025 — Bolivian Carnival

The 13th edition of the Bolivian Carnival in Rome was held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in an exceptional setting: Piazza del Colosseo and Via dei Fori Imperiali. With the motto "Rome dresses in Bolivia," the parade brought together the main Bolivian fraternities and folkloric groups active in Italy, bringing to the monumental center of the Capital the dances recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

"Rome dresses in Bolivia"

In 2025, the Bolivian Carnival in Rome reached its thirteenth edition, choosing one of the most famous settings in the world: from Piazza del Colosseo along Via dei Fori Imperiali, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, with free admission.

Promoted by the Embassy of Bolivia in Italy together with the associations of the Bolivian community, the edition showcased the emblematic dances of Andean folklore — Diablada, Morenada, Caporales, and many others — symbols of the encounter between indigenous, African, and European influences. The event confirmed the Bolivian Carnival as one of the most attended foreign community festivals in the Municipality of Rome and the entire Lazio Region.
