Edition 2025 — Boccino d'Oro
The 35th Edition of Boccino d'Oro
The Boccino d'Oro 2025, now in its 35th edition and dedicated to the memory of Giovanni Salvo, was held from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Saline Ettore Infersa, on Isola Lunga in Marsala. The tournament opened on Friday morning at 10:00 AM and concluded on Sunday afternoon with the finals.
As per tradition, the event attracted numerous federal boccette players from various Italian regions, gathered for three days of competition in the evocative setting of the Marsala salt pans. The event, managed by the Saline Ettore Infersa facility with the patronage of the Municipality of Marsala and under the aegis of FIBIS, confirmed the Boccino d'Oro as one of the most characteristic events in national competitive billiards, successfully blending competition with the promotion of the Stagnone territory.
Programme
The tournament was spread over three days, from the morning of Friday, June 27 (opening at 10:00 AM) until the afternoon of Sunday, June 29 (concluding around 5:00 PM), with elimination brackets and finals that awarded the absolute champion's trophy and the women's Boccino Rosa trophy.
Highlights
Three days of boccette matches in the setting of the Saline Ettore Infersa, amidst windmills and salt pools along the Salt Road towards Mozia.
