Blues and Soul Festival

The first edition of the Blues and Soul Festival was held in Capaci from August 11 to 13, 2025, in Piazza Antonio Cataldo, with shows starting at 9:30 PM and free admission.

The three evenings, hosted and artistically directed by Palermo-born singer Daria Biancardi, featured:

• August 11 - Osvaldo Lo Iacono, a guitarist and composer with a style blending blues, jazz, and rock;
• August 12 - Joe Chiariello, a young musician who interprets blues with technique and freshness;
• August 13 - Umberto Porcaro, internationally recognized for his connection to Chicago blues.

The event, produced by Gianfabry Production with the patronage of the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and the Municipality of Capaci, marked the debut of a festival that aspires to become a permanent fixture in Western Sicily.
