The night that colors Maerne

Every summer Maerne di Martellago, in the province of Venice, experiences its most crowded evening: the Blue Night, a stop on the circuit of the Colored Nights of Miranese. A series that, town by town, lights up the historic centers of Miranese with evening events dedicated to commerce, culture, and leisure — and in Maerne, the color is blue.

Music, street food, and scenography

From 8:00 PM, Piazza IV Novembre and the streets of the center transform into a large, widespread stage: live music, DJ sets, dance, sports, shows, and entertainment for all ages. Each edition adopts a scenic setting — from giant luminous dinosaurs to ever-new themes — which serves as a backdrop for a food and wine route with about fifteen refreshment points managed by the town's bars, pizzerias, and sandwich shops.

A festival of commerce and community

Organized by Confcommercio del Miranese in collaboration with the Municipality of Martellago and the MOM Trade District, the Blue Night involves the commercial activities of the center, with shops open late. It has become one of the most anticipated events of the Venetian summer, capable of attracting up to 15,000 people in a single evening.
