Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony the Abbot in Pavone Canavese

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Pavone Canavese renewed the traditional blessing of agricultural machinery in honor of Saint Anthony the Abbot, patron saint of farmers and animals. The Municipal Administration wished to emphasize the importance of the deep bond between man and the land, thanking the farmers, the true guardians of the culture and traditions of the Canavese.

The 2025 edition of the Blessing of agricultural machinery for Saint Anthony the Abbot took place on Sunday, January 19, in Pavone Canavese, in the province of Turin. The ceremony, organized by the Municipal Administration, honored the patron saint of farmers with the blessing of tractors, work vehicles, and horses.

In its message, the Administration recalled how Saint Anthony the Abbot evokes "the importance of the deep bond that exists between man and the land," inviting people to rediscover the value of agricultural work and defining farmers as "true guardians of our culture and tradition." At the end of the day, thanks were extended to the farmers, the organizing committee, the parish priest, and all participants.
