Bivona Jazz Festival 2025 — 6th edition

The sixth edition of the Bivona Jazz Festival was held on July 26 and 27, 2025, at the Nuovo Teatro Comunale in Bivona, in the Province of Agrigento, at the initiative of the "Gaspare Lo Nigro" Music School.

The first evening, Saturday, July 26, featured the "Fusion Project" by Francesco Perconti, with young musicians supported by the Jazz Department of the "Toscanini" Conservatory of Ribera: a repertoire that blended refined jazz sounds with dynamic fusion and funk influences.

The second evening, Sunday, July 27, brought Anthony Strong & the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra to the stage: the British singer and pianist, considered one of the best voices on the British jazz scene, was accompanied by Italy's first permanent public Big Band. A festival that, even in 2025, confirmed its dual soul as a celebration of jazz and a platform for young local artists.
