Bitonto Opera Festival

The 2025 edition of the Bitonto Opera Festival enlivened the summer in the town in the province of Bari with a program of opera and sacred music hosted in the evocative open-air spaces of the historic center. Among the titles performed were Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Don Giovanni and the famous Mozart Requiem, performed in the intimate setting of the city's cloisters.

As in previous editions, the festival combined professional-quality productions with a focus on audience education, thanks to the efforts of the La Macina APS association and the artistic direction of Maestro Carlo Antonio De Lucia. The edition consolidated Bitonto's role as a reference point for opera in the Bari region, in anticipation of the 2026 season dedicated to Verdi.
