The eighth edition of Birba chi legge took place in Assisi from 12 to 14 September 2025: three days of stories read, narrated, sung, and dramatised for children and teens, with shows, creative and musical workshops, literary walks, and meetings with authors and illustrators in the historic centre.

The eighth edition of Birba chi legge - Festa delle Storie animated Assisi from 12 to 14 September 2025. For three days, the city became a large narrative space for children, teens, and families, with stories read, narrated, sung, danced, drawn, and dramatised in every corner of the historic centre. The programme featured shows, creative and musical workshops, literary walks, training seminars, book presentations, and meetings with authors and illustrators, as well as the award ceremony for the national competition "A library in every school".
