Bierfest - Beer Festival of Gressoney

The Bierfest 2025, in its 31st edition, enlivened the Weissmatten square in Gressoney-Saint-Jean from June 19th to 24th. The festival opened on Thursday, June 19th, with the barrel ceremony and the opening of the self-service, followed each evening by dancing with bands from the Alpine folk scene: I Fleimstaler, Matteo Tarantino, the Dolomiten Bier Band, the Spritz Band, and The Kiss. The star was Kühbacher beer from Baron Beck Peccoz, tapped from the large approximately 15,000-liter barrel that arrived from Kühbach, accompanied by Bavarian and Aosta Valley specialties. Folklore shows with the Greschoney Trachtengruppe provided the backdrop, with the closing on June 24th coinciding with the feast of Saint John, patron saint of Gressoney-Saint-Jean, in the municipality of the upper Lys Valley.
