Edition 2025 — Bicincittà Veglie

The 37th national edition of Bicincittà was held in Veglie on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with the slogan "Imagine... people living in peace". Gathering and start at 8:30 AM from Piazza Umberto I. The edition, organized by ASD Luigi Murra with the patronage of the Municipality, also served as a lead-up to the Giro d'Italia stage arriving in Lecce on May 13.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the 37th national edition of Bicincittà took place in Veglie under the slogan "Imagine... people living in peace". The gathering and start took place at 8:30 AM in Piazza Umberto I, the heart of the Salento town.

Organized by ASD Luigi Murra with the patronage of the Municipality of Veglie, the ride took on a special meaning that year: it served as an official lead-up to the Giro d'Italia stage which, on May 13, brought professional cyclists to a finish in Lecce, passing through several municipalities in the province. In 2025, the event once again united sports, families, and awareness of sustainable mobility.
