About Biblical Festival

The Biblical Festival arrives in Conegliano with its Treviso stage: meetings, dialogues, concerts, and meditations that bring the biblical text into conversation with philosophy, art, and current events. Born as a major cultural event spread across the Northeast, the Festival brings voices of philosophers, writers, theologians, and artists to the stage of the Convent of San Francesco and the Cathedral. A free event open to all, designed for those seeking a moment of deep reflection amidst the frenzy of daily life, in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana.

The Biblical Festival in Conegliano

The Biblical Festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Northeast dedicated to the dialogue between sacred text and contemporary thought. The Conegliano stage, in the province of Treviso, is curated by the Diocese of Vittorio Veneto and takes place mainly at the Convent of San Francesco and the city's Cathedral.

Dialogues, Concerts, and Meditations

Each edition revolves around a theme that serves as a common thread for the meetings. Philosophers, writers, theologians, artists, and cultural figures from Italy take turns in public dialogues, readings, concerts, and moments of meditation. Most of the events are free to enter, often with prior booking, making the Festival an accessible cultural opportunity for everyone.

A Cultural Network in the Veneto

The Biblical Festival is not just about Conegliano: the event spans multiple cities in the Veneto region—including Vicenza, Verona, Padua, and Rovigo—making the Marca Trevigiana and the entire region a large laboratory for discussion. The Conegliano stage stands out for its evocative setting within the city's historic and religious spaces.
