Biancoazzurra Medieval Festival 2025 — 22nd edition

The 2025 edition of the Biancoazzurra Medieval Festival enlivened the Piazzale del Cassero in Castiglion Fiorentino, in the Province of Arezzo, between late May and the first days of June. The Rione Cassero presented its re-enactment with jesters, flag-wavers, medieval music, and shows, while the taverns offered traditional dishes accompanied by wines and craft beers, remaining open for lunch on holidays.

Among the most anticipated events were the performances by the Mercenari d'Oriente and the dinner in the Fortress, with the event concluding with a fireworks display at the foot of the tower. As per tradition, admission was free, confirming the festival as one of the most heartfelt moments in the Castiglion calendar leading up to the Palio.
