Edition 2025 — Befana Trophy

The 36th edition of the Befana Trophy was held on January 6, 2025, in Acerra, confirming its status as one of the most important running events in Campania. Over a thousand athletes competed on the classic, completely flat 10 km course, supported by the warm local crowd. Victory went to Raffaele Giovannelli among the men and Francesca Palomba among the women.

36th edition – January 6, 2025

The 36th Befana Trophy in Acerra was held on Monday, January 6, 2025, the day of the Epiphany, attracting over a thousand participants along the traditional 10 km city course, which is fast and completely flat. The event confirmed its leading role in the Campanian running calendar.

Raffaele Giovannelli triumphed in the men's race, and Francesca Palomba in the women's. As every year, the race combined competition and popular celebration, enlivening the streets of Acerra with the warmth of the public and the convivial spirit typical of the Befana holiday.
