Edition 2025 — Befana in Serra

In 2025, Serra Pistoiese once again celebrated its Befana on January 5th. As per tradition, children gathered in Piazza Trieste for the house-to-house tour along the village streets, in search of sweets, fruit, and candies prepared by the residents, in an atmosphere made magical by the village's Christmas decorations.

The 2025 edition of the Befana in Serra Pistoiese confirmed a tradition loved by young and old alike. In the hamlet of Marliana, in the Province of Pistoia, children met in Piazza Trieste to set off together on the traditional tour of the village houses.

Door by door, the little ones collected sweets, fruit, and candies offered by the residents, warming up with hot chocolate and tea. The streets decorated for the holidays made the day an evocative experience, in the true spirit of community.
