Befana in Piazza Risorgimento

The Befana 2025 in Amandola, in Piazza Risorgimento, gathered over 200 children for one of the most attended editions in recent years, as part of the 'Amandola Christmas Town' program.

The day of January 6th began at 3:00 PM with a free screening of the film Inside Out 2 at the 'Vittorio Virgili' Auditorium. In the square, the voices from the Zecchino d'Oro performed: Anna Sole Dalmonte, winner of the 2024 edition, along with Edoardo Barchiesi and Aurora Esposito, protagonists of the 2023 edition. In the council hall, 17 families with children born in 2024 were awarded a municipal contribution of 200 euros each, while the Receipt Lottery awarded a prize of 500 euros.

The most anticipated moment was the arrival of the Befana rappelling from the Town Hall balcony, distributing gifts to the children. The grand finale featured fireworks in a completely darkened square. Mayor Adolfo Marinangeli thanked the Pro Loco, the merchants, and the associations, emphasizing how Amandola is increasingly a 'Christmas town'.
