Edition 2025 — Befana Flight
The 2025 edition of the Befana Flight confirmed the charm of this Epiphany tradition in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. On January 5th and 6th, the Befana descended from the Duomo bell tower, accompanied by volunteers from the Tuscan Alpine and Speleological Rescue, while the historic center came alive with the Befana's cottage, family games, and carols sung by the town band. A local festival that attracted families from across the valley, amidst hot chocolate, sweets, and the atmosphere of the Garfagnana befanate.
