The festival of artisan beer from Bergamo in San Pellegrino Terme
BeerGhem is the festival celebrating artisan beer from Bergamo in San Pellegrino Terme, an elegant Liberty town in the Val Brembana, in the province of Bergamo. The event takes place in the central Piazzale Dante, a few kilometers from the Orobic capital, in a setting made famous by the thermal baths and the early 20th-century Liberty architecture.
The festival was born in 2010 on the initiative of the Birrificio Via Priula: the first edition involved six local breweries, which have grown over the years to make BeerGhem a showcase for the Bergamo brewing scene. Tastings are done with the characteristic graduated BeerGhem glasses, purchased with tokens to be spent at the various breweries' stands.
The gastronomic offer is curated by a chef and features Bergamo cuisine made with products from the Brembana Valley, with some dishes prepared using beer. Every evening, live music accompanies the tastings, in a festive atmosphere that attracts enthusiasts and curious visitors from all over the province.
Now in its tenth edition, BeerGhem has established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Brembana summer, capable of combining the culture of artisan beer with the promotion of the territory and its flavors.
The 2026 edition, the 14th, of BeerGhem is scheduled for July at Piazzale Dante in San Pellegrino Terme. The event confirms its established format: stands of artisan breweries from Bergamo with tastings by graduated glass, cuisine from the Brembana Valley, and live music every evening. The exact dates and program will be announced by Birrificio Via Priula closer to the event.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be published by Birrificio Via Priula closer to the event. Based on recent editions, the usual structure includes:
Typical opening hours: first day from the afternoon (5:00 PM), subsequent days from noon until midnight.
Piazzale Dante, San Pellegrino Terme (BG), about 20 km from Bergamo. Reachable by car by driving up the Val Brembana.
Three days in July, generally the last weekend of the month.
With BeerGhem graduated glasses (15 or 30 cl) purchased with tokens. Live music every evening.
