Edition 2025 — Beato Andrea Festival

On September 13, 2025, Montereale renewed its appointment with the Beato Andrea Festival, the Augustinian patron saint of the L'Aquila village. As per tradition, the day combined religious celebrations and the opening of the urn containing the Beato's remains in the church dedicated to him with the historic livestock and goods fair, a moment of gathering for the entire community of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga mountains.

The 2025 edition of the Beato Andrea Festival was held on September 13th in Montereale, in the province of L'Aquila. Respecting tradition, the community gathered around the figure of its patron saint, the 15th-century Augustinian friar, with religious celebrations and the opening of the urn kept in the 18th-century Church of Beato Andrea.

Alongside the devotion, the village hosted the traditional livestock and goods fair, with stalls, local products, and traditional crafts, confirming the deep bond between the patronal feast and the rural soul of this inland Abruzzo territory.
